Dr. Ooi is a co-founder of Thothe. He obtained his BSc (Honours) and Ph.D. from Monash University, Australia. His most recent work includes VIPER, a content-based system that provides efficient retrieval of images based on free text as well as color and texture.

Dr. Tan is a co-founder and Director of Thothe overseeing the Intelligent systems group. Concurrently, he is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the same university. His major research interests include database security, multimedia information retrieval, query processing and optimization. Dr. Tan was a Senior Scientist at the Genome Institute of Singapore.

Dr. Ivan Png is a co-founder of Thothe. Concurrently, he is a Professor of Information Systems and Business Policy in the School of Business at the National University of Singapore. Previously, he was a faculty member at UCLA and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He is a nominated Member of Parliament and founder of Economic Analysis Associates.
