The VFS Viewer is designed to display the combined
results generated by the FDS and VSS engines. The VFS Viewer
is launched by reading the XML file generated by the engines.
When a new XML result file is loaded into the VFS viewer, all
the shots and faces detected (both images and information)
from the video will automatically be extracted and displayed
for manipulation. While allowing the user to make sense of
the generated results (video shots and face objects), the
program also provides facilities for the user to:
- Merge selected video shot(s)
- Export selected video shot(s) and face object(s)
- Delete selected video shot(s) and face object(s)
- Play selected video shot
- Add description to any video shot(s)
- View the associated face object(s) by clicking any video shot.
- View and play the associated shot when clicking any face object
